Addison has been sick :(

Addison has been diagnosed with a really bad case of Reflux :( We have changed her from beast milk, to formula, and have changed her formula 4 times!  We have also added rice cereal to her bottles, and she is on Zantac as well.  As far as her spitting up... it has improved greatly!!! However, she had started throwing up :( We thought it was due to her reflux problems and didn't think anything about it, especially because after she threw up, she didn't fuss.. well she never fusses!! She is such a happy baby that we never thought twice about her throwing up being due to anything other than her reflux.  Well we were sadly mistaken!!! We were getting ready to go to her 2 months check up and I knew she was running fever, so I didn't give her anything for it, because we were going to the doctor anyway.  We get there and her fever is 101.4, and we did not know that for 3 month olds and younger, their temperature can not be over 100.5.  If it is, then it causes for concern.  So because it was 101.4, we were sent to the hospital for extensive testing... spinal tap (meningitis), blood cultures, and urine cultures.  Her spinal tap and blood cultures come back normal, however, her urine culture did not.  She had E. coli in her urine, which means she has a Urinary Tract Infection.  As the doctor was telling us this, I was wondering.. How in the world??? Well, he informed us that, it's nothing that we have done, nor something we HAVEN'T done.. Its not the way we wipe her, not what we bathe her in... NOTHING! ( Still wondering.. HOW?? )
We naturally have E. coli in our bodies (intestines) and (MY PERSONAL OPINION) I think that when she has "runny" diapers, it gets in "that" area and as the doctor said, she was susceptible to getting an infection at that time.... Ok, understandable!
NOW,  we have to go through further testing, (as if she hasn't had enough, poor baby) We go Thursday for a VCUG, A voiding cystourethrogram, where they will insert a catheter and inject dye into her bladder and kidneys to look for (by X-Ray ) scarring from the infection, enlargements, or reflux. ( I didn't know you could have reflux in that area)
So her throwing up and running fever were clear signs of an infection... but we were putting it off as her reflux... I have been feeling sooooo guilty and like its all my fault for not knowing better!! But I am so glad that she is feeling better and getting better!! 
We are praying that our baby girl is ok and she ONLY has a UTI, and nothing more serious!!!

Ashley and I have been so excited to do "photo shoots" of the girls.. and we FINALLY got the chance to do one :)) I think it was a HUGE success and I am sooooo happy of the turnout!! However, Sarah Lynne was not very happy at the time, so we didn't get many of her :( BUT more pictures are definitely to come :)

Our Babygirl is Here!!

I am a little late on this... but Miss Addison has made her debut!! :)) I had a doctors appointment Jan. 24, and my blood pressure was very high AND I was 4 cm dialated, so my doctor sent me on over to the hospital to be induced.  At 7:06pm our BEAUTIFUL baby girl was born! :) We are so unbelievably blessed to have such a happy and healthy baby!!  She will be 3 weeks old Monday... and I still can't believe it! She is growing so fast!!

Over due update :)

So I haven't updated this in a while now, however, a lot has been going on :) First of all... My amazing husband bought me a new car!! I absolutely LOVE it!! Its a 2010 Ford Taurus...

It is an amazing vehicle and I couldn't be more happy with it :) ( thank you honey!! ) BTW he said that it isn't "my" car it is Addison's car ha! I told him that was perfectly fine with me :)


Secondly, Bronson has gotten to spend a lot of time at home and I have enjoyed it so much!! However, he had to leave yesterday going to Knoxville, TN, and hoping he will be home very soon!! I am getting spoiled to him being home so much :) But good news.. he will be off of work the ENTIRE week of Christmas!! I am looking forward to spending time with him and family :))


Ashley, my sister, had her baby yesterday!!! She and baby are doing great!!! It's a girl, Sarah Lynne Hartsfield, and she is very healthy!!

8 lbs 4 oz. and 20 inches long :) A head FULL of thick hair!!! She is absolutely beautiful!!!
It's actually really surreal for me.. I can't believe that will be me in about 8 weeks!!! I am anxious, nervous, scared, READY!!, and a little bit of everything :)


I will be 32 weeks pregnant Saturday so I will go ahead and update on that...
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth. (babycenter.com)
As for how I feel... I am actually sick right now.. Doctoring a chest and head cold (not fun) other than that... I am getting more and more tired as the days drag on, I can't get very comfy at night, heartburn... UGH!! I can drink water and it gives me heartburn!! I drink milk to help it and 5 minutes later.. it's back!! Never ending battle ha!

This month is going to be insanely crazy!! Every weekend from now until New Year's, we have somewhere or something to do! Don't get me wrong.. I love Christmas and spending time with family, but it just seems like we are tossed from here to there to please everyone! I hate to say it, but I am ready for it to be over with... it has become so over rated now! It's really about Jesus Christ and celebrating his birth and these days its all about what you are going to get who and "hope" they like it! Ok Ok enough of that!! Fall Family Pictures :)

So I finally got Bronson to take some pictures ... YAY!! Its kind of special to me because I doubt I will pregnant again for a WHILE!!!

 27 weeks :)

25 weeks!!

I am now 25 weeks pregnant!!! Only two more weeks till 3rd trimester and 15 till we meet our baby girl!!

What's going on this week....

Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

As for me..
I am feeling pretty good.. Minus the cold!! Thank goodness I am able to take Sudafed :) It is wonderful! Other than that.. Miss Addy is ALWAYS moving!! I must say that it is pretty enjoyable right now :) just a little reassurance.  However, there are times where she can make me a bit uncomfortable. 

I am missing Bronson more and more each day!! Can't wait till he gets to come home!! :)
